Tau Kung was born in Louisiana, grew up in Kansas, and lived in the Northeast for a while before landing in Colorado, where he now resides with his family.
 
On the technical side, he has over a decade of experience in energy engineering, where his previous publications were full of numbers and graphs and entirely lacking in comedic timing. He hopes to change this with his first novel.
